Evolving Barbers Academy ("Evolving Barbers," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you use our website and Services. We operate from Toronto, Ontario, Canada and align our practices with Canadian privacy expectations, including principles reflected in PIPEDA.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide and information needed to run the Services:

Identity & contact — name, email, phone, country, and details submitted on mentorship or affiliate applications.
Transaction data — purchase records, amounts, and status. Card details are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
Account & access — War Room and affiliate portal session data, temporary password records (hashed), and course progress.
Referral data — affiliate codes attributed via a short-lived referral cookie.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

Deliver the MasterClass and mentorship, and operate member portals
Process payments and prevent fraud or abuse
Send transactional messages only (receipts, access credentials, login / temporary passwords, service notices) — we do not operate a promotional mailing list at this time
Review applications, assign setters/closers, and run the affiliate program
Respond to support, privacy, and billing requests
Meet legal and accounting obligations

3. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use essential cookies for login sessions and affiliate attribution. Details are in our Cookies Policy. We do not currently use analytics or advertising pixels. If that changes, we will update the Cookies Policy accordingly.

4. Sharing

We share information only with processors who help us operate the Services — notably Stripe (payments) and Resend (transactional email) — under appropriate contractual safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

5. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Purchase and access records are typically kept for the life of the account and applicable retention periods thereafter.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Email info@evolvingbarbers.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. Some records may be retained where required (for example, completed transactions or dispute records).

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, including encrypted transport and hashed credentials where applicable. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
